LAYERS

It’s a story about isolation and exploring the city, being a traveler in your own town. The subject of this story is Chinatown in Downtown Manhattan – it’s corners, details, hidden and familiar places. Chinatown is shown in a very intimate yet lonely way through exploring it’s Layers and authenticity. Polaroid used here to show instance and motion, sort of a raw snapshot of the city. Perfect square frame balances all the elements – chaos, movement, layers, empty streets, fish markets, rooftops, building facades and street signs.
